Focus Statements and Camera Techniques

1.  What is a Focus Statement? 
Focus statement is a the focus on which the news story is built around on.

2.  Why do we need a Focus Statement?
To keep focus on the story and avoid distractions from it.

Avoids unnecessary movements when shooting footage
